Squidoo Just Not My Thing - Looking for Other Strategies

Ok. Lately I'm really not focusing on squidoo so much. With all the fuzz about low quality content and locked lenses I just can't be bothered to waste my time on content that can be removed if squidoo doesn't like it.

So I decided to try affiloblueprint course from affilorama. And I must say I learned a lot of new things, especially SEO and link building stuff.

I worked my way through the course and at the sime time I'm building my site exactly as instructed in step by step guides in affiloblueprint. I still didn't managed to go through all the steps but the site is starting to get traffic (still low) and slowly gaining good rankings for my keywords.

I will report back when I finish the whole course. I hope this time I finally stumbled upon a good strategy for building niche sites.

Squidoo locked lenses but still positive about

New changes with squidoo got few of my lenses locked. Sadly, but nothing I can do about it. Well, actually I managed to unlock my favorite one -  How to make homemade egg noodles. This one was my favorite and I spend alot of time and research to create it. So I edited this lens, reworked some modules and I emailed squidoo to unlock it. I was really happy when I got email that my lens will be unlocked.

I hope this won't happen again and that all my old and new lenses will stay featured.

Recently I finished new project. Lenses about blue topaz rings. I followed WSO from Erica Stone called Squidoo niche blaster. I am still waiting for results since lenses were just published. Will report when and if I start getting visitors.

 I hope for the best. Could be the way to go. And is realy simple.

My First Affiliate Sale on Squidoo

Yay. I'm so happy! I just got my first few dollars from amazon modules on squidoo.

Looks like I got lucky. My lens Best Ear Protection for Shooting is still low (close to zero) on search traffic, but I still managed to get Amazon sale. Two sales actually.

I sold rail mount laser for guns and ear plugs. Laser was sold for 110$ so my advertising fee for this baby was good. :)

With both items sold I earned 4.99$! Not bad for my first sale.

 I hope I get some more sales in the future. Fingers crossed.

Now I am waiting for my other lenses to earn some money.  Will report if I manage to get lucky again.

Best laptop for seniors

On this lens I did some keyword research first. Ofcourse im still learning, so only time will tell how good keywords for this lens are. I hope in time I will get some visitors from google search. I still need to figure out how squidoo shares money when I get someone to buy trough Amazon modules. Well, I am still waiting for my first sale. So no hurry. :)

This lens is now published for about a week and it got 150 visitors. I hope in time it will get more, we'll see.
